Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has said sorry to supporters for his response when substituted in Sunday's heated Clasico clash victory.

Vinicius was taken off in the 72nd min and expressed his frustration by going straight to the dressing room.

Vinicius subsequently came back to the bench and, after his side's narrow triumph, attempted to approach the opposition's youngster Yamal during unsavoury final whistle incidents.

But his future in the Spanish capital is uncertain with reports in recent months stating that the club would think about letting the 25-year-old leave if they obtained a good proposal.

When the winger was taken off on Sunday, TV coverage from broadcaster Dazn captured him saying: "It's always me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I go, I'm going."
